Old Faithful Geyser is not Yellowstone National Park's largest geyser, but it is a gorgeous geyser to watch erupt toward sunset. The geyser will expel 10,000 to 12,000 gallons of water during each eruption with heights reaching 170 feet. Intervals of eruption occur on average from 50 to 90 minutes, thus the name Old Faithful.
