Great Fountain Geyser in Yellowstone National Park is a fountain type geyser located in the Lower Geyser Basin.  Eruptions of Great Fountain will begin with a large bubble burst with subsequent eruptions from 75 to 220 feet followed by smaller bursts every five minutes.  Eruption intervals for the geyser are from 9 to 15 hours.  A sunset eruption is spectacular allowing a glimpse into the romance of nature.
